Y Diwrnod yng Nghaerdydd
Roedd hi'n fore braf yng Nghaerdydd. Roedd y haul yn disgleirio yn yr awyr las, ac roedd y dail ar y coed yn symud yn y gwynt ysgafn. Roedd Alys, merch ifanc, yn cerdded lawr Heol y Frenhines. Roedd hi'n gyffrous iawn am y diwrnod oedd o'i blaen.
"Rydw i'n mynd i'r amgueddfa heddiw," meddai Alys wrth ei hun, gan edrych ar ei chloc. Roedd ganddi ddigon o amser cyn y trên nesaf. Felly, penderfynodd stopio am baned o goffi.
Aeth i mewn i gaffi bach ar gornel y stryd. Roedd y caffi yn llawn pobl, yn mwynhau eu bore, yn sgwrsio ac yn chwerthin. Archebodd Alys goffi poeth a chacen fach. Eisteddodd wrth fwrdd ger y ffenest, gan edrych allan ar y bobl yn pasio.
Wrth iddi eistedd yno, clywodd rhywun yn siarad Cymraeg wrth y bwrdd nesaf. Roedd yn synnu ac yn hapus i glywed ei hiaith yn cael ei siarad yng nghanol y ddinas. Trodd at y person a dywedodd, "Helo! Dwi'n dysgu Cymraeg. Wyt ti'n siarad Cymraeg yn aml?"
Gwnaeth y dyn gwenu a dywedodd, "Ydw, rwy'n siarad Cymraeg bob dydd. Mae'n wych gweld rhywun ifanc yn dysgu'r iaith!"
Aeth y sgwrs yn ei blaen am ychydig, ac roedd Alys yn teimlo'n fwy hyderus wrth siarad. Wedi iddi orffen ei choffi, diolchodd i'r dyn a gadawodd y caffi. Roedd hi'n teimlo'n llawn egni ac yn barod am weddill y diwrnod.
Ymlaen aeth hi tuag at yr amgueddfa. Pan gyrhaeddodd, roedd hi'n synnu at faint y lle. Roedd yr adeilad yn enfawr, gyda grisiau mawr yn arwain i'r drws blaen. Pan aeth Alys i mewn, roedd croeso cynnes yn ei disgwyl.
Cerddodd trwy'r orielau, gan edrych ar yr hen bethau a'r celfyddydau. Roedd un arddangosfa yn arbennig yn dal ei sylw - un am hanes Cymru. Dysgodd lawer am ei gwlad a'i phobl, ac roedd hi'n falch o fod yn rhan o'r diwylliant hwn.
Ar ôl sawl awr yn yr amgueddfa, penderfynodd Alys gerdded yn ôl i'r orsaf drenau. Roedd y diwrnod wedi bod yn llwyddiant, ac roedd hi'n teimlo'n hapus a chyflawn. Pan gyrhaeddodd y trên, eisteddodd wrth y ffenest a meddwl am bopeth yr oedd hi wedi'i weld a'i ddysgu.
Roedd hi'n gwybod y byddai hi'n dychwelyd i Gaerdydd eto'n fuan. Roedd y ddinas yn ei hudo gyda'i storiâu a'i phobl. Wrth i'r trên ddechrau symud, gwnaeth Alys wenu. Roedd hi'n barod am ei phrofiad nesaf.
