Amicus Fidus
Olim erat puer nomine Marcus, qui in parva villa cum familia sua vivebat. Marcus erat puer laetus et curiosus, semper quaerens novas res discere. Multa habebat somnia et multa cogitabat de mundo extra villam suam.
Unus dies, cum Marcus in horto ludebat, vidit parvum canem errantem prope domum. Canis erat solus et videbatur famelicus. Marcus, natura benevolens, statim ad canem accessit et eum blande salutavit. "Quis es tu?" Marcus rogavit. Canis latravit leniter et caudam movit, quasi intellegens Marcum.
Marcus, sine dubitatione, canem ad domum suam duxit. Mater Marci, quae in culina erat, vidit filium suum cum cane intrare. "Marce, quis est hic canis?" rogavit mater. "Nescio, mater," Marcus respondit, "sed videtur amicus. Potestne nobiscum manere?"
Mater, benevola sicut filius, annuit. "Si nemo hunc canem petit, potes eum retinere," dixit. Marcus laetus erat et cani nomen "Fidus" dedit, quia credebat canem esse amicum fidelem.
Marcus et Fidus inseparabiles facti sunt. Omni die, Marcus et Fidus per agros currebant, in silvis explorabant, et in flumine nocabant. Fidus semper cum Marcum custodiebat et Marcum ab omni periculo defendebat.
Unus dies, cum tempestas magna venit, Marcus in silva erat, cum subito fulgur terram percussit. Marcus timuit, sed Fidus fortiter latravit et Marcum ad tutum locum duxit. Ibi, sub magno arbore, Marcus et Fidus tempestas expectaverunt.
Cum tempestas transiit, Marcus intellexit quantum Fidus sibi carus esset. "Tu es vere amicus fidus," Marcus dixit, dum canem amplectitur. Fidus latravit et caudam movit, gaudens de amicitia eorum.
Postea, Marcus et Fidus multos annos simul vixerunt, et amicitia eorum numquam dissoluta est. Marcus didicit, per Fidum, quod vera amicitia non est in verbis, sed in factis. Et sic Marcus crevit, sapiens et felix, semper meminens amicum suum fidelem, qui semper ei aderat.
